- 150g of Bacon Strips
- 500g of Ground Beef
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt

- 1 Medium Onion

- 1 Can of Peeled Tomatoes (300g)
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
- 1 Teaspoon of Chimichurri
- 100ml of Water
- 40g of Processed Cheese (Polenguinho)
👨🍳 Instructions
- Boil 1 liter of water with 1 teaspoon of salt and cook the bow-tie pasta until al dente. Set aside.
- In a large skillet, fry the bacon strips until golden and crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, keeping the fat in the pan.
- In the same bacon fat, add the ground beef, 1 teaspoon of salt, and the generous pinch of black pepper. Sauté until well browned.
- For the sauce, chop the onion and the sweet red peppers, and add them to the ground beef along with the peeled tomatoes.
- Add 1 teaspoon of salt, the chimichurri, and the 100ml of water. Let it simmer over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
- Fold the chopped processed cheese (Polenguinho) into the hot sauce, stirring well until it melts and forms a smooth cream.
- Mix the cooked pasta into the sauce, top with the crispy bacon, and serve immediately.
💡 Chef's Secret
Add the chopped Polenguinho cheese during the final minutes while the sauce is still hot so that it melts and creates an extremely creamy and velvety texture.
